A Brief Shaman Leveling Guide
This Shaman leveling guide covers various levels that a player has to equip his Shaman for effective use of the character.
First, you have one town and one trainer. At the earliest of levels, you take everything that you could obtain and all the quests that are offered. This is a very vital stage. This also is the easy part. When done very well, the transition to the following level will be smoother for you. It is important here to earn all the gold that you can get so you could buy more spells and gears. Get also all the gear that is offered. Whatever failure here will make your Shaman a little shabbier in the succeeding levels. As the initial levels are completed, you will be progressing to the next town with another guide.
{Levels one to three} – During levels one to three you will be equipped with a healing wave and a totem of lightning bolt. Learn here the casting of lightning bolt to its maximum range as lightning bolts are used for ranged attacks. The totem of lightning bolt increases its power of spells for chain lightning and power bolts while the healing wave is a mana efficient totem but is also powerful for single target casting.
{Levels 4 to 5} – As you get to this level, the Rockbiter and the Earth shock are weapons that you will learn. You will be effective at this level when your Rockbiter is open at all times and you spam your Earth Shock as frequently as you can. Rockbiters are often not used though when a Windfury totem is earned in the later parts of the Shaman development. Study using the lightning bolt to its maximum distance. Do the same thing with the Earth Shock to spam runners. Using Earth Shock is a good deterrent for your target from casting spell.
{Level six to 7} – You learn here the Earthbind totem and then get the Stoneskin totem. The Earthbind totem slows the speed of the enemy and protects your raiding party up to 30 yards while increasing the affectivity of their armor by 860. The Earthbind totem is used to stop the enemy from running away or slow them down when you are. These different levels have to be worked on well for your Shaman to be very effective when you reach level 10 and upwards.
Reaching these levels will already open to you the different kinds of talents that you will choose for your Shaman depending on the DPS it could wield and the kind of Shaman you want create. Not until you reach these levels where the power that you would want to provide your Shaman will be defined.
The manner by which you play the earlier stages of the game will define the participation of the Shaman later.
