Hogwarts Castle is a wondrous, magical building with many towers and turrets. It is home to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A wizard architect built the castle over a thousand years ago . Some of the rooms in the school tend to “move around,” and so do the stairs in the grand staircase. The school has numerous charms and spells on and around the castle that make it impossible for a Muggle (i.e., a non-magical person) to locate it. They can’t see the school, rather seeing only ruins and several warnings signs of danger.
Now you can replay important scenes from the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie, or even make up your own adventures. Legos are perfect for social play, and with 943 pieces included in the package, this Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts castle set provides loads of exploration and cooperative play.

The LEGO Hogwarts Castle set is modeled so that, when constructed, it recreates the look and feel of the Order of the Phoenix film. Several unique rooms are represented here, including The greenhouse provides a place where Hermione can tend a potted mandrake, The Room of Requirement, where Harry can get just about anything he wishes (provided he walks past it three times). There’s even a fireplace through which Harry could exchange messages with Sirius Black, only there are no owls included. The accessory pieces of the set are loads of fun. It includes orange flames, trophy ribbons, tiny goblets, jewels, magic books, charts and many other interesting pieces.
With more than 900 pieces, kids between 7 and 12 will likely take a few hours to put it all together into a finished playset. Luckily, Lego includes colorful, step-by-step diagrams to build The Hogwarts Castle. And not like the other non-Lego playsets, LEGO Hogwarts Castle can be broken down and re-assembled into many different combinations.
