O’Donnell Associated With Witchcraft
Tea Party Republican Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell of Delaware has already made what has proven to be a dubious name for herself with some of the more controversial elements of personal history and campaign platform. Reports also indicate that O’Donnell lied about the nature of her college degree status. Then data trickled out the born-again Protestant foisted the stink eye toward the topic of masturbation. Of late, O’Donnell’s past has surfaced once more, including newer, stranger flavors to her political pie. Christine O’Donnell had some witchcraft stories to share on a 1999 episode of the Television exhibit “Politically Incorrect”. Specifically, she claims to have “dabbled in witchcraft”.
O’Donnell’s witchcraft confession – a Wiccan shout-out?
Christine O’Donnell may not know witchcraft, reported by the Wiccan information accessible at the Australian site Witchcraft.com. To elaborate, O’Donnell claims that one time she went on a group date, the entire group was fascinated by what she claims was a “Satanic altar”. Wicca, as outlined by Witchcraft.com, is rather different than some fever dream of primordial evil. It celebrates nature and its cycles when abandoning the silly pretenses society prescribes on the faith via superstition. As nature takes no sides, Wicca is also neutral. Whether Christine O’Donnell’s Senate aspirations will continue to endure is questionable, but fellow Republicans reportedly would love to view her either keep quiet or vanish to the mists of Avalon.
‘I never joined a coven,’ O’Donnell meekly exclaimed
So-called “witchcraft” was evidently a teenage phase for O’Donnell. She doesn’t currently profess to practice witchcraft, which would likely not sit well with O’Donnell’s current deity, who professes in his own sales literature to be “a jealous God”. Karl Rove doesn’t even have a strategy to pull her out of this. He has evidently stated his belief that O’Donnell can’t win Delaware against her Democratic competition. Indiana Rep. Mike Pence has demanded that O’Donnell step forward to explain her statements. On “Fox News Sunday” just lately, Rove even went as far as to say he is “seriously concerned” about O’Donnell’s history and character.
The best exhibit on the planet
Now Raw Story accounts that witchcraft may even less essential than the latest scandal for Christine O’Donnell. According to Washington ethics groups, O’Donnell allegedly used $ 20,000 of campaign cash for personal purposes like gasoline and other personal needs. Certainly, such an allegation is not unique within the political world. That doesn’t mean such corruption should go unpunished, if it is indeed the case with O’Donnell. The thought of Christine O’Donnell claiming that she’s all about responsible government spending is interesting in this case, to say the least.
