Hogwarts Castle
Hogwarts Castle is a wondrous, magical building with many towers and turrets. It is home to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was built over a thousand years ago by a wizard architect . The school has some rooms that tend to “move around,” and so do the stairs in the grand staircase. The school has a lot of charms and spells on and around it that make it impossible for a Muggle (i.e., a non-magical person) to locate it. They can’t see the school, what they can see only ruins and several warnings signs of danger.
Now you are able to replay important scenes from the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie, or even make up your own adventures. Legos are perfect for social play, and with 943 pieces included in the package, this Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts castle set provides loads of exploration and cooperative play.
Lego Hogwarts Castle
The LEGO Hogwarts Castle set is modeled so that, when constructed, it recreates the look and feel of the Order of the Phoenix film. Several unique rooms are represented here, including The greenhouse that provides a place where Hermione can tend a potted mandrake, The Room of Requirement, where Harry Potter can get just about anything he wishes (provided he walks past it three times). There’s even a fireplace through which Harry could exchange messages with Sirius Black, only there are no owls included. The accessory pieces of the set are loads of fun. It includes orange flames, magic books, trophy ribbons, tiny goblets, jewels,charts and many other interesting pieces.
With nearly a thousand pieces, kids between 7 and 12 will likely take a few hours to build the castle into a finished playset. Luckily, Lego includes colorful, step-by-step diagrams to build The Hogwarts Castle. And not like the other non-Lego playsets, LEGO Hogwarts Castle can be broken down and re-assembled into many different combinations.
